In this Masterclass, Malcolm Staves and Jean-Christophe Le Coze bring together decades of experience from two complementary worlds: global leadership practice and safety science research. Drawing upon Malcolm’s 35+ years leading EHS strategy, cultural transformation and organizational development across multinational organizations, and Jean-Christophe’s internationally recognized research into safety science, human factors and organizational learning, participants will explore a practical model that connects safety science with leadership and organizational performance.

The Masterclass draws on years of collaboration between Malcolm and Jean-Christophe, supported by extensive field studies of safety management systems and leadership practices in complex multinational organizations. Moving between science and practice, participants will examine leadership engagement, trust, culture, organizational maturity, performance measurement, human factors, governance, capability building and organizational learning.
