Leveraging the Unique Operational Intelligence of Your Workforce

Most of us are familiar with the Black-Line-Blue-Line concept and recognize that there is a difference between how managers and leaders envision how work gets done, and how it actually gets done.  Understanding that there is a difference and knowing how to use this information are two entirely entirely different things.

This session will dig into the Black-Line-Blue-Line concept, exploring new perspectives and providing a richer understanding of what it represents in practical terms of an organization’s work systems.  The discussion will highlight how organizations can convert this enriched understanding of the Black-Line-Blue-Line into a means to advance a positive organizational culture, cultivate more effective leaders, build psychological safety and trust across an organization, and ultimately advance operational excellence.
