A Unique Opportunity to review Best-in-Class Safety
Safety On The Edge is offering an exclusive Organizational Benchmarking and Networking Opportunity designed for attendees seeking structured, high-value learning and cross-industry insight. This program will take place on Monday, 4 May 2026, one day before the main Safety On The Edge Conference (5–6 May) in Baltimore.
This optional pre-conference day is designed for organizations that want to bring their safety or management members for focused internal work combined with powerful peer-to-peer benchmarking.
We have invited (8) corporations to send an executive member of their company to present on their Best-In-Class practices and systems, and workshop-style, open-ended discussions.
Program Purpose
To provide a structured environment where participating organizations can:
- Learn directly from other leading organizations through formalized benchmarking
- Exchange ideas, methodologies, and emerging practices
- Build cross-industry relationships before the conference begins
This is not a lecture or panel format. It is an interactive, rotational benchmarking process where each organization contributes and learns.
How the Benchmarking Day Works (1pm-5 pm)
Afternoon Session 1:
- In each of 4 rooms, the ‘host’ company presents a relevant topic—such as innovative safety interventions, risk-management practices, cultural transformation programs, technology implementations, or learning models.
- Mixed groups from different companies engage in structured dialogue, Q&A, and benchmarking comparisons.
Networking Break
A hosted networking break brings all participants together to deepen connections and prepare for the afternoon program.
Afternoon Session 2:
- Teams again mix into various rooms where 4 different hosting organizations present different high-value topics of mutual interest.
- Participants gain exposure to multiple approaches, enabling genuine cross-industry comparison and reflection.
- Mixed groups from different companies engage in structured dialogue, Q&A, and benchmarking comparisons.
Closing and Evening Reception
The benchmarking day concludes at 5:00 PM.
Participants then have a short break before joining the official Welcome Reception of the Safety On The Edge Conference – an exclusive opportunity to network with global industry leaders, keynote speakers, and other conference participants.
