How to Survive an OSHA Inspection

Understanding “what” OSHA is looking for is a valuable tool to help prevent avoidable citations should OSHA conduct an inspection and ultimately will support your efforts to maintain a safe work environment.

With more than 15,000 Cal/OSHA standards, the rules are too numerous to memorize all of them, not to mention they are often difficult to decipher to implement.

Understanding the process, should afford you the opportunity to be prepared, should OSHA conduct an enforcement inspection.

During this presentation he will discuss what triggers an inspection, the inspection process (opening conference, the “walk-around”, citation development-citation issuance), employers’ rights and responsibilities (what you should say and not say!), and the inevitable “citation package” that is likely to result from an OSHA inspection.

At the close of the presentation Paul will give tips on how to be prepared for an OSHA inspection, and a Q&A session.
